Planner & Foreman, finishing and inspection

What are we looking for? A leader with a winning and passionate attitude who demonstrates the ability to successfully engage employees! Reporting to the Finishing and Inspection Manager, the incumbent is responsible for all activities related to the planning of products to be finished, inspected and repaired and the supervision of the inspection department. The incumbent must demonstrate communication and creative skills, teamwork and employee engagement. He/she will also have to respond to various requests. 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the needs of products to be finished, inspected and repaired

  • Create and monitor production plans

  • Evaluate and communicate equipment capacity requirements

  • Maintain certain computer and other programs

  • Communicate all customer order information to customer service agents

  • Perform all other tasks related to finished products or others

  • Validate and correct the supply according to the master instructions

  • Schedule and receive external production and process returns

  • Prepare work schedules and all necessary documentation for finishing, inspection and repair

  • Replace the finishing and inspection foreman as needed

  • Perform all other related duties

Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma in business administration or operations management or D.E.C. in textile technologies

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in planning or production management

  • Good command of French and good knowledge of English

  • Demonstrate autonomy, good judgment and excellent analytical and planning skills

  • Ability to prioritize, make decisions and be guided by a sense of urgency

  • Flexible in scheduling

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage employees

  • Interest in working in a continuous improvement environment

  • Demonstrate dynamism, rigor and creativity
