The ideal job

Being a major player 

  • Plan, organize, direct and control the operations of the after-sales service department

  • Train, advise, evaluate and provide technical support to after-sales service employees

  • Review complex, difficult or unusual requests, complaints or situations and identify, define and take action to resolve them

  • Provide technical support and training to sales staff regarding after-sales service department policies and procedures

  • Provide support to the marketing department for the validation and verification of technical documents such as warranty, installation and maintenance documents

  • Research, select and supervise subcontractors for repairs and inspections

  • Follow up with our external suppliers of products for resale to receive compensation when there is a claim from our customers

  • Follow up on legal claims in collaboration with the company's management and the legal department

  • Establish and maintain monthly key performance indicators to measure service quality, efficiency and cost of claims

  • Carry out all other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate

  • Experience in personnel management and customer service

  • Minimum of five years experience in the floor covering industry

  • Perfect command of French and English (oral and written)

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office software

  • Leadership and initiative

  • Strong negotiation and claims analysis skills

  • Dynamism, proactivity and creativity

  • Sense of mobilizing communication

  • Interest in teamwork

  • Ability to manage crisis situations
